Source to Pay Lead Solution Architect

The S2P Lead Solution Architect will lead large Source to Pay solutions across US, EU and APAC. The role’s focus is beyond business as usual and includes: helping win new deals, coach and mentor existing account teams to move along the service value chain, and provide consulting depth to customers in the S2P space.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead solutioning & pre-sales efforts for global deals
  • Drive revenue growth across competitive and sole-source pursuits
  • Provide thought leadership and create IP and original artifacts that continually improve solutions and maintain quality
  • Proactively build proposals for mining accounts; collaborate with account teams to fast-pace solution responses and provide steady follow through for sole source pursuits
  • Develop, manage and maintain an effective RFX infrastructure and  repeatable/re-usable assets that increase effectiveness and volume
  • Provide deep domain knowledge that: shapes S2P value propositions, offers robust commercial and operating models and provides competitive differentiation
  • Develop, manage and promote advanced solutions  and optimal techno-commercial constructs that leverage existing sourcing/category business intelligence and technology platforms
  • Benchmark solutions with leading industry best practices and measurement systems to monitor efficiency  of the solution teams and effectiveness of responses
  • Work with alliances and channel partners to co-create winning value propositions

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree, Masters ideal
  • Experience in leading procurement operations/processes for large global clients; deep understanding of operations
  • Experience in leading large-scale, global procurement solutions
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes/systems and technology, in particular sourcing, eProcurement. eSourcing, e-Auctions, contract databases and transaction “eProcurement” catalogue systems
  • Proven track record of driving change in people and processes, with strong project management, implementation and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of S2P technology applications
  • Consultative skills and structured thought process; creative thinking and innovative mindset
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple focus sectors
  • Ability to engage senior client management on offerings, emerging issues in focus sectors, lead project scope discussions and provide insightful recommendations
  • Understand the full S2P spectrum and how it drives business performance
  • Knack for spotting, understanding new trends and ability to relate those to relevant business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal  and influencing skills, ability to build strong partnerships, works and communicates well with all levels of leadership (both client & internal)
  • Superior negotiation skills
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to work in matrix organization and cross functional teams across India, US and Europe
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven leader with a strong ability to assemble, inspire, motivate and drive the performance of pursuit team members.
  • Executive presence and an ability to influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations, including procurement, finance, legal and administration
  • Ambitious and self-motivated
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fluent English speaker
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power Point
  • PMP, CIPS, SCM certifications desirable

Location and Travel

  • Virtual position, work remotely
  • Global travel as required
